Class of 2023

Congratulations to our Matrics of 2023!

Congratulations, Class of 2023 You did it!

A message from your Class Guardians

Dear Matrics,

Baz Luhrmann’s motto, “A life lived in fear is a life half-lived” has particular resonance with regards to you individually, and as a group. You have surprised and amazed us this year with your resilience and your ability to face and overcome obstacles. You have embraced the matric process with a positive attitude which, we are sure, will translate into your academic results. We have loved watching you grow and mature into lovely young adults ready to leave the nest and fly, successfully, into the unknown.

We trust that you will embrace all your future endeavours with a ‘we got this’ attitude, and that life brings you nothing but joy and fulfilment. We hope that you stay in contact and that you visit us. You have been a part of our lives just as much as we have been a part of yours. Be fearless. Be magnificent. Be loved.

Dear parents, Michael Mount focuses on far more than solely guiding our students towards a good matric. Our unique Waldorf curriculum encourages each student to develop as individuals, so they may go into the world as:

“free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives.”
~ Rudolf Steiner

Subsequently, we take this moment not only to celebrate academic achievements, but also the well-rounded, self-assured human beings they have grown into over the course of their schooling.

May this year’s Class 12 students, the Class of 2024, enjoy a successful and rewarding matric year.  And may all in our community enjoy this year’s Waldorf journey.

Kind regards
