The Michael Mount community has many amazing entrepreneurs who own their own businesses. During this time of mass closure, we hope that you will continue to support those members of our community who are so greatly impacted by the pandemic.
I’m an accomplished and results driven freelance marketing consultant with over 23 years experience gained in working for multinational corporations, NGOs, and as an entrepreneur.
My passion lies in developing marketing strategies for organisations, accompanied by the hands on development of marketing campaigns for win-win results. I have a thorough understanding of business and marketing strategy, community building strategies, social media, content marketing, website development, and customer engagement.
The Tech Warrior team has been supporting small businesses with online website solutions for more that 20 years. Matthew and Tristan, the core team members, are father and son and long standing members of the Michael Mount community.
At Tech Warrior we understand what it is like to give and take; to offer support and be supported — whether it be in good times or bad times; through thick and thin. As far as we are concerned this is what a great relationship is all about.
We are a good-natured bunch of guys who have each others' back and, if you'll let us, we'll have your back too.
Our focus is on our clients, helping them achieve their goals. Why? Because we’re partners. We listen. We create. We surprise. We support.
Originated in 2007, we’re a below-the-line agency with talented design inspirators, strategists and writers. We deliver measurable results, in budget and on time. And because we only hire outside specialists when we need them, we’re able to pass more savings onto you.
Put another way, if this was a dating website, we’d say: Highly experienced agency seeks long-term relationship with businesses who want to grow. Let’s meet.
I started Silver Spoon Hire in 1994, when I was 21 years old, from my parents’ house and the company has been supplying event equipment ever since. We stock a variety of equipment including cutlery and crockery, furniture and stretch tents.
We help businesses stand out from their competitors & source new customers using video. We are an award-winning video production company based in Johannesburg. Our passion is to produce powerful video content that gets viewers’ attention, builds emotional affinity, and creates ongoing reasons to stay connected to the brand across TV, digital and social platforms.
We work alongside some of Africa’s most forward-thinking companies, as well as partnering with innovative entrepreneurs to establish and build their businesses.
Cloth Nappy Collections 4 Change is a charity organisation that supplies nappy stashes for families in need from birth to potty training. We foster a culture of each-one-help-one so donated nappy packs are returned, sterilised, repaired and passed on to new families in need.
ProDecor is a family business that has been around for over 40 years. We supply props and decor for events and the film industry. We have a detailed website with an online ordering system. Just a few things can make a huge difference to the atmosphere at a party.
Contact us for any future events or during these COVID-19 times, we are supplying decor for at home family photoshoots, home "drive-ins", drive through birthday celebrations and baby showers!
Our family has always been creative. Lockdown has given us an opportunity (and the time) to create. We love wood, metal, cotton and wool (oh, and cycling, we love cycling). Our range of 100% cotton, limited, quirky casquettes (vintage style cycling caps) are comfy and fun to wear.
We are a Consulting Engineering practice that provides professional services in the fields of Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Management. Started in 2003, we have undertaken a variety of projects such as waste water treatment, biogas to electrical energy, Biomonitoring of Aquatic and Wetland Ecosystems at Kusile Power Station and more. See our website for details.
We come from a family where education and literacy were key aspects that were instilled in us by our parents and is very close to our hearts.
We started Pay it Forward RSA in July 2020. As a way of kick starting this initiative my family donated 200 books, which included a pay it forward request, and we partnered with United Way to add the books to a food distribution initiative in Riverlea, Johannesburg. There was an overwhelming response and we took that as confirmation we were on the right track.
Over the next while we will continue to encourage our family, friends and wider community to pay it forward and donate books, puzzles, etc for distribution to communities in need.
