Our school campus was closed for classes and events as of 18 March 2020.
Throughout the April holidays teachers and staff worked tirelessly to facilitate distance learning.
Distance learning (some online, some facilitated through other means) began on Monday, 20 April.
School permitted to reopen in a phased manner from Monday, 1 June.

We continue to assess and follow the guidance of the Department of Basic Education and the National Alliance of Independent School Associations (NAISA) and the Federation of Waldorf Schools.
Children in this age group returned to campus from July 2020. Strict health protocols are in place. To help the children adapt to this, teachers use stories, songs, verse, games and imagination play. Activity packs are sent home to the children whose parents who elect not to send their children back to school at this stage.
Children in classes 1 to 4 receive five days of classroom teaching out of every 10. For the other days teachers connect with their pupils in a variety of ways. Digital technology is used sparingly, primarily for social purposes, with these younger children.
These classes returned to campus in June 2020. Classroom teaching takes place for five days out of every 10. On the other days teachers use a variety of platforms to connect with their pupils online.
Class 8 - classroom teaching takes place for five days out of every 10. On other days teachers connect with their classes using MSTeams. Students who unable to return to the classroom are accommodated with online teaching.
Class 9 & 10 – returned to class full time from 31 August 2020. Students who are unable to return to the classroom are accommodated with online teaching.
