We continue to assess and follow the guidance of the Department of Basic Education and the National Alliance of Independent School Associations (NAISA) and the Federation of Waldorf Schools.
Early Childhood teachers are committed to supporting and helping to nourish the children and their families through stories, songs, and activity ideas, and providing a rhythm for the children. Remembering that play and work are the cornerstones of the early childhood curriculum, resources are provided to help support parents to bring Waldorf education into their home. Teachers communicate weekly and are available for check-ins as needed.
Teachers follow the Waldorf curriculum and connect with their pupils in a variety of ways. Digital technology is used sparingly, primarily for social purposes, with these younger children.
Class 7 returned to campus 9 June 2020. Classes 5 and 6 phasing in from 15 June 2020.
Assignments and creative work are uploaded onto MS Teams for these classes. The teachers are available to assist the students with any work they are struggling with. Students submit their work for assessment and feedback is given.
Class 12 students return to the Michael Mount campus from 2 June 2020. Class 11 students return to the Michael Mount campus from 8 June 2020
